Several industrial processes require continuous density and consistency measurement for improved product quality. The instruments available so far tend to be expensive and difficult to install. Smar developed DT302 to counter these between other difficulties.

DT302 technology is based on capacitive cell, which provides quick and reliable measurement of liquid Density and Consistency.

The installation of DT302 is very simple: its probe is installed directly in to the process or alternately inside a sampling chamber.

DT302 is available in two versions. One is for general use and the other is for sanitary applications like food, beverages or pharmaceutical. Typical industries that DT302 is applied are Pulp and Paper, Sugar and Alcohol, Petroleum and Chemical.

DT302 utilizes two pressure and one temperature sensor through which density measurement is done, with an accuracy better than most presently density measurements devices available in the market. Besides density or concentration the process temperature is also available.

DT302 can be used to measure density in many useful units like Degree Brix, Baume, Plato, INPM etc.

Through the digital communication DT302 permits the operator access to the operational status of the instrument including self diagnosis in the control room far from the instrument. Besides density or concentration the process temperature is also available for information and control.
