ISA technical meeting stages SMAR presentation on wireless equipment integration

Last February, ISA held in São Paulo the monthly technical meeting “Wireless Technology and the ISA 100 Standard”, where SMAR Electronic Development Engineer, Leonardo Oliveira, made a key-note presentation on ”The Integration of Wireless Equipment via Backhaul”.

This integration is underway through the cooperation with ISA and the Fieldbus Foundation and the active SMAR participation, enabling their teams to elaborate and discuss standards and equipment to validate the tests. With Smar instruments, the valid solutions were already tested and approved, both for wireless equipment and controllers and systems. 

Meetings as these are important because, besides SMAR, other industrial automation companies believe in this technology and started using wireless equipment in several applications. “The talks and the exchange of experience prove that the wireless technology have become of age and today is a robust and cost-effective solution”, ended Eduardo.
