SMAR at ISA Brazil Show

The major instrumentation, systems and automation companies assembled at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil last december 2007. The exhibit dsplayed products, application and integrated solutions cases at ISA SHOW 2007, the XI international conference of this technology sector.

SMAR presented its technical innovations and solutions to the market through product launch displays hands on minde section including. One product display included the Line 400 devices composed of pressure transmitters and valve positioners. The company showed the introduction video for the RD400 guided wave level transmitter. The SYSTEM302-7 control and corporate automation system was also exhibited through a modern replica of an integrated operation center with architecture very closely simulating a real application.

SMAR systems and solutions were also featured at the Fieldbus Foundation booth, illustrating the company´s vast experience with this technology.

SMAR also participated at the event with the Profibus Brazil-Latin America Association. Speakers participating included SMAR Director Cesar Cassiolato, Marcus Vinicius Ribeiro and Leandro Torres area Managers. The presentations encompassed Profibus technology and SYSTEM302-7 case histories in the ethanol industry. The Technological Innovation Space included a presentation made by SMAR Engineer Adriano Reis on Nanotechnology. One of SMAR´s social priorities is its commitment to the local Brazilian community. During the show, SMAR Collection Associates (responsible for company social activities) promoted the sale of souvenirs in while funds received are donated to charity institutions enrolled in the SMAR social responsibility program.

According to Area Manager Luiz Carlos Geron, the show is a timely opportunity to strengthen the SMAR trademark, while presenting state of the art products, services and solutions for automation and control. ”This is an event of growing importance and visibility to all industrial segments including the domestic and international market. SMAR was one of the initial ISA Show enthusiasts in Brazil and has been a supportive participant since the first edition in 1995”, adds Geron.
