Smar Present at Major Serbia Electronics Show

Smar participated at the International Fair of Technique and Technical Achievements in Belgrade, Serbia for the second time. This major event has taken place annually since 1957, and presents the latest innovations in industrial automation.

Smar was represented by the company’s business collaborator in Serbia, WIG d.o.o. Products were displayed to more than 64,000 visitors and included Smar’s extensive line of level, pressure, temperature and density transmitters. In addition, a completely automated process control system comprised of fieldbus controllers and several transmitters were connected to a computer to demonstrate Smar fieldbus and accompanying software solutions to the crowd.

“Sales for the European market amount to approximately 30% of Smar´s exports, and the Serbian market accounts for 10% of that total and it is rapidly growing”, says Douglas Lunardi, Business Development Manager, who represented Smar in the exhibition.

As a prominent representative of this most sophisticated Brazilian technology, Smar was also a guest speaker for System302 at the event. A presentation was held in the main conference room and attended by some 75 participants from all over the world.
