SMAR is launching its new Temperature Transmitter for Safety Instrumented Systems, the TT400 SIS. In addition to several releases already publicized about the SIS, SMAR will be issuing shortly more information on how, where and when to use its transmitters of the 400 line developed for this system and how they operate.
With this product in the market, SMAR turns even more competitive. “The market for safety instrumented systems until 2012 will bill some 3 billion dollars”, says product manager Marcus Vinicius M. Silva.
The trend in the coming years is for the industrial automation sector to increase its requirement that plants operate with safety integrity levels, he adds. “The result will mean best qualified people, more demand for better safety under severe industrial conditions, which soon will be applicable beyond the Chemistry, Petrochemicals, Petroleum and Gas segments’”, ends he.
