Smar Products Test Successfully at OPC Workshop

For the sixth consecutive year, Smar products were tested by the OPC Foundation at the OPC Interoperability Workshop held in Las Vegas. The Brazilian multinational submitted, among others, the following:

  • DFI302 platform Server (HSE OLE Server) which complies with OPC Data Access 2.05A Alarm and Event Server
  • The Alarm and Event Server compliant to OPC Alarm and Events 1.10 specification
  • The New Data History server, currently being developed, which complies with OPC Historical Data Access 1.20.

The tests were carried out by Smar Development Engineer Edner Ricardo Pontes and focused on insuring that the devices complied with all OPC standards. The Smar products underwent successful testing in all requirements, and secured complete interoperability with the main OPC tools and applications available in the market.

Some 50 engineers from thirty different companies attended the event. See complete results at the OPC Foundation site: http://www.opcfoundation.org.
