Communication Protocols Meeting held in Buenos Aires with SMAR Solutions

Buenos Aires, Argentina held two important events for the automation, instrumentation and control community “Bus Protocol Meeting” and the Automated Control Week , sponsored by ESCO – Argentina, for exchange of experiences among communication protocol suppliers and instrumentation professionals.
Attendants were able to have an idea of the main differences and benefits Open Protocols offer in orther to be able to make better decisions for their next investment. Other issues addressed were: Installation, Control at the field level, segment load (data and physical), devices that help the transition to modern protocols, FOUNDATION ™
fieldbus link active scheduler (LAS), device description (DD), field device, HART, PROFIBUS and Modbus protocols.
