Smar Technology Highlighted by CE Magazine

The Interkama special edition of Control Engineering magazine displays on its cover Smar’s president Edmundo Gorini showing the product DFI302, one of the first High Speed Ethernet (HSE) linking devices approved by Fieldbus Foundation. The magazine states that more than anything else, fieldbus technology captures the attention of instrument professionals. They also say that Smar was not only the first to have an HSE product, but it is also the first to incorporate, in a single platform, High Speed Ethernet, H1 fieldbus field channels, Modbus and several different modules for interfacing analogue and discrete variables. According to Mr. Carlos Liboni, International Division Director, "this fact is a recognition of the hard work that has been done by Smar and its engineers to develop the fieldbus technology. We are proud to receive this distinction of one of the most important control, instrumentation and automation magazines worldwide."
