Smar Transmitters Assembled in Venezuela Eleinca C.A. is one of Venezuela´s major companies for process control and instrumentation. Eleinca has been a Smar partner for 15 years. They initiated the assembly of Smar pressure and temperature transmitters in Venezuela.

Smar Control System in Operation at Venezuelan Refinery In August 2006, a production separation train began utilizing Smar System302 at the PDVSA state oil company Jusepín complex in Venezuela. The control system is installed in the Module 8 production separation line at the refinery and has a daily capacity of 45,000 barrels of oil. Read more»
Japan Plastic Recycling Plant Controlled with System302 The Japanese company IHI - Ishikawajima-Harima Industries developed a pilot plant with a recycling system for producing petrochemical raw materials. The raw materials are processed utilizing the recyclable polyolefin (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene) as the major component with employment of a gallium-based zeolite catalyzer. Read more»
Smar Adopts New OPC Standard Once again, Smar takes a leadership role in the process control industry. Smar was the first in Brazil and one of twelve worldwide to submit plans to adopt the new OPC UA – OLE for Process Control Unified Architecture. This standard was designed by the OPC Foundation, the American institution responsible for specification standards governing the transfer of data between industrial equipment and the software systems that process the information.
