ID Shell
Interface Device Shell for Host System
ID
shell is a set of services written in "C" language that greatly
simplifies the development and integration of host interface devices
and systems. In short, it is a software interface used to communicate
between the Fieldbus communication stack software and higher-level host
application software.
ID
shell enables the execution of complex host related functions within
the stack by running numerous routines and functions resulting from
simple function calls by the upper level host software. Thus, the development/integration
of high-level host applications (configurator or HMIs) does no need
to be involved with the complex specific of the Fieldbus communication
protocol. (Sold separately)
