Smar Manifold Valves use the needle valve for high pressure concept, with a non rotating tip which allows a closure without “pick up” or galling between the tip and the seat of the valve. The tip is self-adjustable to the seat on closure, avoiding leak paths through the spindle, a traditional problem found in swaged ball and solid spindle types. Higher life-cycle due to an exclusive sealing system, which allows better performances on processes and maintenance. Smar Manifold Valves can be supplied in Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Carbon Steel*, Monel* and Super Duplex*. The gaskets can be provided in PTFE (default) or Grafoil, and their bolts come in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. They are also available for vacuum, oxygen and NACE (MR 01-75 version) applications. All of the valves have tracking codes engraved in their blocks, in accordance with EN10204 – 3.1.B standard.
