Nova Smar received on the morning of Friday (10) in the auditorium of the Municipal Chamber of Sertãozinho, a Green Seal Program Certification through the Municipal Department of Environment. There were 24 companies from Sertãozinho that received the certification, and the event was well organized with the presence of municipal authorities and class entities.
According to Ricardo Monteiro, CIPA president (2022-2023), this certification represents an achievement for Nova Smar. Since out of 400 companies in the city, only 24 were certified in this program. The certification was a goal launched by the board of directors to the CIPA members, in which the activities were distributed according to the program.
SIPAT and the environment
"In this CIPA management we had several actions aimed at the environment, such as: the implementation of (colored) waste garbage cans for selective waste collection in the units, lectures to make employees aware of selective waste collection, implementation of a blue bag to collect recyclable waste (which before was thrown together with regular trash), a program to collect cooking oil, that is, collection points were implemented in the units, lectures on the rational use of water, the SIPAT where lectures with the Secretary of the Environment were presented. Lectures on residue collection with representatives of the company GS Inima Ambient (Nova Smar's partner), a theater play about environmental consciousness", said the president of CIPA (2022-2023), Ricardo Luis Monteiro.
